The Fo'c'sle

I think this is the oldest pub in Canada or something like that. The place is decorated in cool, old posters and advertisements. The food was good and the place was busy. Loved it!

Visited on our first day in Nova Scotia. Had the speciality steak followed by pina colada cheesecake. Both courses were excellent. With a large selection of local craft beers also available this place is a gem. We returned later in the week dining more simply on burgers and these were also of the highest standard. A great place to eat whilst in the lovely town of Chester.

Second time in a few weeks that we have been there. Excellent meal, our server was a lot of fun and the lemon mousse dessert is to die for. Awesome casual place for good food and reasonable prices. Friday night ribs are very good, Saturday night 1/2 price bottle of wine (who can complain about that!). Steak is good but serving on the sizzling hot platter tends to continue to cook it.

I had heard so many good things about this place. I had the Fo&#39;c&#39;ile burger. The bacon was all fat. The burger patty was not much better. The fries were mushy. Cole slaw was great! It took 25 minutes for the food to arrive and the place was not busy. Don&#39;t bother with this place. Kiwi Caf&eacute; around the corner is much better.

装修比较简约明快，非常好吃的一家娘惹菜餐厅，在加拿大还是蛮受欢迎的，服务员对我们不懂的菜都会仔细介绍，很认真
